But since vinyl is more resistant than mesh, these better prevent contaminants from getting into the pool. However, water accumulates on top of these covers, and you may have to pump that off. You can buy these covers for $1,200 - $3,000, and their life is about 6 to 10 years.

Automatic Pool Covers

As the name suggests, these are automatically retractable covers that roll up into itself. You don’t need to find separate storage space for such protectors. Auto pool covers employ with just a key, switch, or touchpad for enhanced convenience. As positives outweigh some of its drawbacks, people don’t mind spending what they cost, i.e., roughly around $5,000 - $15,000. But comparatively these last only three years before you start replacing its parts.
